Premier Bride Jacksonville asked Danielle Tosky, Oldfield Club’s Private Events & Lodging Director, a few questions about the gorgeous wedding venue and here is what she had to say…..
What do you love the very most about what you do? Establishing a relationship with the bride and family! Its always a happy and sad day on the big day.. A wonderful marriage has begun but I stop getting emails and calls. I love helping create and executing the most special day a girl dreams about all her life.

Will you be on-site during the entire reception until the very end? It all depends on the event.

Tell the brides-to-be your best wedding advice. Take every moment in and remember what it is all about, the planning process and the day of go by so fast… you always need to remember what this is all about and at the end of the day you’re marrying your best friend.

What is your most favorite wedding trend right now? I would have to say the simplicity of the décor and colors people are going with right now, so soft and elegant! Cant ever beat something that will be classic for a lifetime!

What do you do that makes you stand out more so than others in your industry? What I do is so important to me, this is just not a job or paycheck for me.. I love what I do and I think that people can tell.

What is your favorite product or service that you offer brides? Please describe it. Our Location.. DUH! Its Beautiful! There is NOTHING like it!

Do you offer any other products or services? We do have on site lodging for those guests that need space for their out of town guests! While staying on property, you get to experience a little of Oldfield all over.. golf, fitness center and pools, fishing, kayaking, horse back riding! What a wedding weekend!!

Will you have an assistant during the wedding? I have an awesome staff that is behind me! Wouldn’t trade them for the world and they are for sure to make you and your guests have a great time!

How far in advance should a bride to be contact you before the wedding? As soon as possible! We book up fast!

What are some of your specialties? Our venue is able to host both the ceremony and the reception and we have 2 main venues with 2 completely different looks. Southern Plantation Style Home with large lawn on the water, and then our Outfitters Center which is rustic and unique also with great views of water surrounding the entire building.

How long have your been doing what you do? About 6 years, I was at the Pink House prior to coming to Bluffton and I have been here going on 3 years!
