Friday Musicale is as Unique and Charming as it is Historic

We asked Jeff S. Tawney, Venue Rental Manager, with Friday Musical a few questions about this unique and charming venue. Here is what he had to say:

What do you love the very most about what you do?  Being able to assist a Bride & Groom with their vision of their big day!

Will you be on-site during the entire reception until the very end?  Yes, we have event staff on site throughout our events.

Tell the brides-to-be your best wedding advice.   Less is more!

How long has Friday Musicale been in business? 91 years

What is your most favorite wedding trend right now?   Gourmet Popsicles at Receptions / Food Trucks for Dinner Service

What do you do that makes you stand out more so than others in your industry?  Our main building offers amazing history with great pricing.  We are very flexible with vendors such as catering.  You are not locked into a set vendor list.

Do you offer any other products or services?   We offer (2) different venues – Friday Musicale Auditorium and L’Engle Hall.  Tables & Chairs are included with your rental fee.  We also set everything for you and strike everything.  You also have access to our kitchen space in either building.

Will you have an assistant during the wedding?  We will have event staff on site, but not day of coordination.

How far in advance should a bride to be contact you before the wedding?  We generally take reservations up to one year out.  Since there are only so many Saturday Dates in the year, we find that Brides think outside the box and book alternative dates such as Friday, Sunday or Weekdays.

How long have your been doing what you do?  Jeff — I have been in the Event Industry for over 20 years.
