We asked Chef Hope, the owner of d’Vine cuisine, inc. a few questions about her professional experience with catering wedding receptions and here is what she had to say..
What is your favorite wedding memory?
There are so many. I remember so clearly a wedding 5 years ago. We had just built out the shop and it was our first wedding cooked in it. The bride was so gracious and all went so well. Her groom/husband was in a band….and sang to her that night. It was so wonderful.
What do you love about what you do?
Meeting all the wonderful people and their families.
What makes you stand out against others in the industry?
Chef Hope enjoys working closely with her brides and family members. We like to create a menu just for the event that reflects the bride’s style and taste. It is all in the details.
What is your favorite product or service that you offer brides?
We love food stations and buffets. We also have been providing family style service with large bowls and platters of food delivered to the table.
What is your best advice for brides to be?
Brides need to learn to enjoy their day. It goes quickly. Don’t try to run your wedding, hire a coordinator!! An experienced coordinator that will coordinate with the vendors but be flexible.
What is the worst wedding moment you have experienced?
The father of the bride sat and cried all night. He hated the groom.
What are your price points or price ranges?
Pricing is based upon the final menu and services provided. We try to be realistic in our pricing with recognizable food.
When should a bride contact you?
It is best to email with the details of your event. The office is open 9 to 4 most work days.
What are 5 adjectives that describe you and/or your business?
